 Anthropology 1010 signature assignment

Spring Semester 2012 

In Human Biology (BIOL 1090) I relearned a lot of concepts and terms that I had previously known from my Medical Assisting program in high school, as well as many new more in depth scientific information that will surely be useful later in my school and work career. (see sample of work)

Philosophy 1000 is a survey class that gives a brief introduction to a number of topics in Philosophy, including metaphysics, epistemology, logic, ethics, personal identity, existentialism, and a number of others.  Attached is a writing sample from the class. it is an argument in suport of the memory theory, one of the methods of personal-identification.

Physics 1000 was introductory to a lot of different fields of study in physics.  It was one of my more difficult classes this semester due to the amount of material that was covered.  I especially enjoyed the sections having to do with chemistry and light. 

My online gym class this semester was definitely an eye opener for me.  I found that i am not only doing a very good job with eating the right things, but that i also need to get in better shape.  Luckily, there was a great start to an exercise routine incorperated into this class.  I definitely plan on continuing that after the class ends. 

 History 1700 actually ended up being more interesting and fun than i had expected it to be.  There are a lot more applicable historical facts than i ever knew there were.  This class helped me to develop new kinds of study skills to retain information on a more specific level rather than general ideas.  Fall Semester 2011

Religious Diversity (HUMA 2400) was a class about the pluralistic society that we experience day by day in America, and also tought acceptance of other cultures.  During this class, I attended a church of a faith other than my own and gave a presentation about the similarities and differences of that service in comparison.  (see sample of work)

Human Growth and Development (PSYCH 1100) was a very interesting class.  I learned a lot of information that will someday help me in my trade! Health science classes have always been among my favorites. (see attached sample of work) 

English 2010 has helped me to become a more skilled writer, which will be necessary in the rest of my college career. (see attached sample of work)
